"Jesus spoke in parables, and without a parable he did not speak" Mark 4:33

He said that Satan would stand in the Holy place. And He said you are my witnesses. And the 2 witnesses would be dead for 3 1/2 days and at the end of 3 1/2 then Jesus would say "come up here" and they would come alive and the entire world would see them come alive.

I think churches have been dead since 2020 when they had to close and Satan stood there instead of Jesus and spoke lies and represented "another Jesus" (Jesus warned us about this) and Satan in the churches said that there was no covid, or climate change. Jesus himself said that the last plagues would happen to the entire world and the world would burn. So 2020- end of 2023 is 3 1/2 years and we might be raptured at the end of 2023.

"Revelation 11: 7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days some from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11 But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on."

This verse definitely refers to Jerusalem. How does that fit with your interpretation of 3.5 days?

Gal 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

@GJOFJ3 Jesus was very clear that he was always speaking to us "Israel" born again.

@GJOFJ3 Do you go to a church that talks about Jerusalem in the middle east? That is not the "Jerusalem " that Jesus spoke of! Please read the Bible carefully, Satan is roaming in the church!

@Carazaa
—where also their Lord was crucified.
This is referring to physical Jerusalem isn’t it?
Carazaa · F
@GJOFJ3 I believe Jesus and the church are the 2 witnesses. Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem, yes. God says he is using it "figuratively" , he is speaking about Jerusalem where Jesus was killed. Jesus witnessed about the Father. The church will "figurately" be killed, just as Jesus was "literally" killed.

@Carazaa My understanding of Rev. 11:7 the beast will attack them (both witnesses) and kill them and both their bodies will be left in the street. And they (both witnesses) will stand up together and be called up. Maybe that is too literal but that’s how I read it.

@Carazaa when did God use it "figuratively" why do you quote things that are not in the bible?

"Revelation 11: 7
"Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt"

@Random3838 The KJV and Young’s Literal Translation both use the term that is called spiritually Sodom, and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified,). It certainly seems to me that this refers to physical Jerusalem
