I wouldn't reduce Churches to buildings.
Matthew 18:20: For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them
Just because Church buildings are closed doesn't mean Satan finds his way in.

@FaithfulDamagedSoul I believe Satan crept in convincing people that covid was a lie, that climate change didn't happen, that Trump was Godly, that hate was christian, etc.
@Carazaa These false messages are being spread much longer already and I agree how evil they are. It's sad and drives people away from faith.

I don't think so. The Sermon on the Mount isn't a parable

I think churches have been dead since 2020 when they had to close and Satan stood there instead of Jesus and spoke lies and represented "another Jesus" (Jesus warned us about this) and Satan in the churches said that there was no covid, or climate change. Jesus himself said that the last plagues would happen to the entire world and the world would burn. So 2020- end of 2023 is 3 1/2 years and we might be raptured at the end of 2023.
Don't try and predict the end times noone will ever know when they are.

Matt 24:39
"For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. At that time there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left."

@Carazaa @Carazaa The Rapture in a relatively new idea in Christian thought but
It seems from the text that the folks who are being “taken away” are being “taken away” to judgment rather than to heaven. He says, “as in those days before the flood . . . they did not know until the flood came and swept them away.”
Secondly, and along these same lines, if we go to a parallel text, Luke 17:34-37, we find this:
I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together; one will be taken and the other left. And they said to him, “Where, Lord?”
If you asked any dispensationalist the question, “Where are those who are ‘taken away’ going?” They would respond, immediately with one word: “Heaven!” But what did Jesus say to the apostles when they asked him where these were going to be taken?
Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
The word translated “eagles” is the Greek aetoi, also translated “vultures” and signifying birds who feed on carrion.
That doesn’t sound like heaven, does it?

@bookerdana Pre-tribulation rapture is a new evil deception in the church, but not the post tribulation rapture!
1 Thessalonians 4
"16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified.
This verse definitely refers to Jerusalem. How does that fit with your interpretation of 3.5 days?

@Random3838 The KJV and Young’s Literal Translation both use the term that is called spiritually Sodom, and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified,). It certainly seems to me that this refers to physical Jerusalem
