Whom Christ Truly Died For

[media=https://youtu.be/4juZhM9dyX0]

There are people who claim to be Christians and by just believing in Christ will give them the right to receive salvation. Many people claim that they benefitted from Christ's death and that the Church is no longer necessary for salvation. In this episode, it will be proven that such beliefs are wrong for the Bible clearly states whom Christ died for and why the Church of Christ is necessary for salvation.

@jshm2 Christ Jesus died on the cross so that whoever reconciles with God through His Son will be saved.

Question _ are you speaking of a building or are you speaking of people?

I'm not saying that the church herself isn't necessary but there is so much corruption in almost every Church that it is almost impossible to have any type of belief system in the church.

From my point of view the church is the people who occupy the buildings for worship and learning purposes. There will always be people but Christ said the Gates of Hell will not prevail against his Church who are people.
In order for Christ to have died, would not Christ need to have lived?

Tacitus was a Roman historian, senator and lawyer. In his annals he wrote of Pontius Pilate and the part he played in the gruesome crucifixion of Christos/Christus as well as about the followers of Christos whom he referred to as Chrestianos . English terminology Christ / Christians.

A Google search can find the annals of Tacitus, letters between he and Pliny the Younger concerning the Jewish Christians. And letters of Josephus.

He is written in the books of the history of the Romans. They hated the Jews.

@CorvusBlackthorne what authority?
If you ever read anything either of those people wrote which has been preserved as much as possible and passed down through history you would find that they actually had to deal with Christians they even set parts of Rome on fire this is life that became a part of History not from an authority who passed it as truth.

The Romans hated the Jews Christians and eventually in the third century they destroyed utterly Jerusalem and the Jews were scattered as prophesied by Yeshua / Jesus in Scripture.

Your analogy has flaws _ with the usage "authority" !
