How easy is it for you to be accepting of atheists? In particular, the rude and aggressive ones.

Lately I'm getting pretty irritated by a special kind of atheist, the ones that just stop by Christian posts and leave a 😂 or who make posts belittling or attacking Christians. It seems to be happening more often recently and I've had them pop up on posts that have nothing to do with Christianity.

I think everyone should be able to voice what they believe in a respectful way and its really bothering me that some people can't be kind or just pass on by if it's not in alignment with their world view.

How do you manage this kind of thing? Do you just ignore or do you block? Lately I'm blocking in order to protect my own mental health.

The more vulgar they are I block -

Some just seem to like to pest - I ignore

Some troll - which lets me know I am a Target after a certain amount of trolling I block

And this happens on every site even those that are designated to be Christian. And on atheist sites, the vulgarity this displayed, and I do mean vulgarity is overwhelming.

@Really your question should have been when. Two decades ago - there were no Christian discussion sites that I could find online.

But there were sites designated to Creation/Evolution Debates _ Does God Exist _ What Are Angels - etc, etc, etc and those were on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

And I think I should add the Christian sites that were on Facebook Twitter and YouTube were more devoted to writing scriptures and such.

@SDavis My question is my question. There is nothing else that it 'should have been'.

I don't 'do' faecebook or twitter. Sadly, Google is somewhat unavoidable but it was great when it was just Dejanews (and, I think, still non-commercial?)

So why DO you look at atheist sites and their 'overwhelming vulgarity'?

Because that was no other place to go to discuss Christianity 20 years ago. Oh you do know what decades mean don't you?

And I haven't done Facebook - Twitter and years so the comment it is meaningless. There are many Christian talk sites these days - which atheists are welcome to come to place their disagreements in a adult like fashion.
