Usually when authoritarian governments target a religious community, it's because that community is doing something that goes against the government. And it's never because the government is trying to force Atheism. The Chinese government has persecuted Muslims, but not in an attempt to make everyone Atheist. The government just doesn't like minorities.

@orioninthenight Yes Communism is an Atheist political and economic system.. It has been illegal in communist countries for people who believe in God to hold any position of power.. In China for example it is illegal for anyone who believes in God to be a member of the Communist party of China..

Separation of Church and state in the USA.. Was established to prevent any religion taking exclusive control of Government.. The founders of the USA wanted freedom of religion for everyone.. It did not want to see what happened in Europe where the catholic religion because the church of state and so the state was used to persecute non-catholics .. So if no religion takes state power then all religions can be free to pursue their faith without persecution.. The separation of church and state was NEVER designed to eliminate religous belief in the USA.. on the contrary it was designed to allow a proliferation of many religions in the USA..

Science is neutral as far as i am concerned.. Same with archeology.. They have never concerned me as a Christian..

@Adstar science is most definitely an atheist endeavor in modern times....archeology in particular has proven christianity and all other thousands of religions to be a complete load of shit

No modern western type Science was founded by Christians as a form of worship of God.. The Idea was that discovering the working of the world would lead Christians to discover more about the mind of God..

And Archiology done right goes a long way to prove Biblical accounts of History to be true.. Of course there are atheist archiologists who are biased against the Bible and do their best to interpret discoveries in a biased anti Christian way to serve their agenda of undermining the scriptures.. They are activists pushing and Anti religous agenda and end up publishing lies in the process..
