"Noooo, you're so ignorant! The Bible doesn't say to kill homosexuals! It's a translation error, it actually says we should kill child rapists and also the raped child - surely you agree with that?! Being gay or trans isn't a sin! It says sodomites (meaning anyone having sex in any position other than vaginal - penis to vagina - which includes queer people as those are literally unable to have that kind of sex) and effeminate men (meaning gender non-conforming men and possibly also trans women) won't go to heaven if they don't repent! See what a wonderful, progressive religion Christianity is???"

You didn't ask me there, but speaking for myself I have nothing against trans people, cross dressers, homosexuals (which I'm), or anyone else. I don't want anything to do with most people, with people in general. I don't like them and they don't like me. I would never vote for anyone. I'm irreligious and apolitical.

@BohemianBoo Democrats and Republicans are owned and operated by the same people. They both want to take freedom to read and gather away. People have been doing that for a great deal longer than there have been the illusion of freedom or the distraction of political parties.

There's no evidence that the Democrats want to take those freedoms away, but there's plenty of evidence that the Republicans do.

In Florida, DeSantis is banning books from public libraries, restricting what teachers can teach, and trying to pass a bill to get bloggers to register with the state so he can censor what they write. And of course, none of the other Republicans are condemning him for this because the entire party has embraced Fascism.

And how does calling out Christian bigots have anything to do with the Democratic party? Most of the Democrats I know are liberal Christians. Every Democratic president in history was a Christian, by the way. The idea that Democrats are opposed to Christianity is an idiotic lie spread by Republican bigots who think the only acceptable form of Christianity is one that promotes the death penalty for gay people and women who have abortions.
