Christians who believe that Jesus is returning very soon...how much time would have to pass before you would be surprised that Jesus hasn't returned?

Yeah i find that pretty problematic and i haven't yet encountered a robust explanation for why that promise has failed.

lol well yeah, that's the obvious explanation from the position that Jesus was just some dude.
But in the context of Jesus is Lord, i've still never been impressed by the apologetics.
