Why didn't God forgive Adam and Eve?
If God sent his only son to die on the cross for the Forgiveness of our sins, then why didn't God just forgive Adam and Eve? And save himself the trouble of having his son die on the cross.

@James25 that’s why Jesus died….. for all of our sims to be forgiven 🤦♀️ the people who died before Jesus Christs coming could not accurately be held accountable for their sins

he punished them because he specifically told NOT to do something that they did. In this instance, he did give them a guideline. That's why they were punished.
if Adam and Eve could not be held accountable for their sins
they could not be sent to hell for sinning when there isn't a specific outline of rules to follow. Which is why in the old testament they are given the mosiac law because jesus didn't yet come to give anyone an outline to followhe punished them because he specifically told NOT to do something that they did. In this instance, he did give them a guideline. That's why they were punished.
