Christians believe that God answers prayers and does miraculous healings...but why does he never ever heal an amputee?

I know this feels like a gotcha question and maybe on some level it is but mainly i'm just really curious about what Christians think the answer is.
I recently watched a video where this question was addressed by a panel of Christians and i was eager to finally hear some theological explanation for this problematic oversight....i was disappointed.
The completely failed to answer the question and pretended the question was more like "why doesn't god heal everyone all the time"

God seems to heal mental illness or diseases like cancer which are known to go into spontaneous remission and help people find their keys or get needed money from unexpected sources...but never grows so much as a finger back.

So, Christians....why has God never healed a single amputee?

P.s In case anyone is interested in hearing the apologist's answers for themselves:

Hahahaha seems illogical to think that just cause someone is Christian will believe that a new leg would grow up or something.
🙃 🙃 🙃 🙃
Miracles are often seem with other kind of illnesses, ofc having faith doesn't mean someone will heal, some seem to do it , but maybe they'll have more inner strength, but yeah i guess some see good as a kind of magical thing
@SW-User

My issue is not that god doesn't heal everyone who asks but why he's never healed someone of something that could never, under any circumstance have healed on its own.
SW-User
@Pikachu cause doesn't work that way, like that's not really a way of "healing " but a replacement of a body part 🙃🙃🙃🙃.
SW-User
@Pikachu hahaha I still laugh at the thought of people growing new extremities
@SW-User

that's not really a way of "healing " but a replacement of a body part

Of course that's healing. It is indeed replacement of a body part...thereby healing you of the injury

Injury is injury whether that's by disease, trauma or damage to the flesh. If god can heal injury then healing a grievous injury like a missing limb is no different.
It's healing the physical form.

cause doesn't work that way,

Why doesn't work that way?
@SW-User

I'm sure amputees don't laugh😉

@Pikachu well Christians amputee may be grateful about having the invention of a leg, an artificial one and see it as a miracle, so maybe the God you criticize so much did answer their prayers and they feel that's a miracle for them.
🙃 🙃 🙃 So in the end God helped them, with the help of others. Miracles aren't always magical illogical things to happen.
And I am rather agnostic BTW
@SW-User

They might indeed feel that way but you'll agree that they have not been healed of their injury. They've received an artificial, inferior substitute.
One might as well consider someone with a limp leg getting a cane to be a miracle.

You said it doesn't work that way. Why doesn't it work that way?
Why has god ostensibly answered many prayers of healing but never one in history where he heals a severed limb?
SW-User
@Pikachu doesn't work like that, that you see God as a sort of being that will sort things out the way you want to. The way he sorted things out or made miracles are with other people influence lots of times, like there's this story of this man that was drowning asking for a miracle from God, and saw a couple boats coming to rescue him but he told them he didn't want their help cause wanted God to save him. In the end he simply died and disregarded the help, the miracles were there . That real help.
That's the problem, your closed mind doesn't allow you to understand that miracles aren't necessarily like you want them to be. And bye see ya another time again in one of these funny posts 🙃😁😁😂🤭
@SW-User

your closed mind doesn't allow you to understand

I think that was a shitty thing for you to say. Just because i am challenging you doesn't mean my mind is closed.
Asking questions and looking for answers is the opposite of a closed mind and just because i don't consider "Doesn't work like that" to be an illuminating answer does not mean my mind is closed to a good answer.

a sort of being that will sort things out the way you want to

If god ostensibly heals people of exactly what they pray for in terms of other diseases why has he never, never, never done a healing like this?

Fell free to hit me up again, i've got lots of funny threads...try not to give such funny answers next time😉👋

Lizards, starfish, and flatworms do it. It’s not like it doesn’t happen in real life.

@DocSavage 🙃🙃🙃 not humans, my dear

@SW-User
Yeah, but why not ?
@DocSavage

I think you'll find the answer is "Doesn't work that way" 🤣
SW-User
@DocSavage @Pikachu you both don't seem to understand basic biology 😂😂 asking such questions, go to elementary school 😂😂😂
@SW-User

You don't really seem to understand what a miracle is😉
SW-User
@Pikachu says a closed minded person that can't understand simple replies given to her repeatedly 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@SW-User

lol Simple replies indeed. That's the problem with your replies, Gaiia: they're simple replies and not thoughtful ones 😉
Hand waving away the problem with "because" just doesn't cut it with me. Sorry if the bar is too high for you.

Actually, we do. I’ve just been told that humans don’t create anything. They only figure out how to put what god made for us on day one. They insist god created the universe and life out of nothing , and yet god can’t make a new arm or leg to repair a broken “creation” despite all his powers ?

Necessity is the mother of invention
You seem to think, that when faced with a need, humans can’t rise to the occasion on their own, without god. History tells a different story. You give god far too much credit.
