Why do people worship their favorite imaginary deity out of fear?

Whose fear? Your fear? Because followers of Christ have no reason to fear as their sins have been forgiven, and they know they will spend eternity in heaven. You're quite mixed up. He is love personified and he told us he never came to condemn the world but to save it. He is someone to respect, honor, praise, and have reverence for. @LadyGrace You are spreading misinformation. There is not one single verse in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) where the Jesus character says that he is interested in saving everyone. He was only focused on the the twelve tribes of Israel.

And it is obvious that you have you hell's confused. The biblical hell is temporary. When people die they go to one of three states: death; hell; or the sea. Everyone in all three places make bail on Judgment Day and if their names are written in the Book of Life, they get to go to the planet that has the 1,500 mile-sided golden cube called New Jerusalem. Otherwise, most, but not all according to the fairy tale, will get tossed into the lake of fire along with death and hell. No one spends eternity in hell in the Bible.

OTOH, you are probably thinking about the Islamic hell. In the Islamic version when you die you simply stay dead until Judgment Day and then you are resurrected. If you are a good guy you get your own private paradise with two 90-foot tall translucent women creatures, a harem of ordinary women and a herd of cute boys. The guys have eternal erections so you know what they will be doing. Most of the people in the Islamic hell are women. Everyone there is tortured for eternity. You don't want to end up in the Islamic hell.

Read the book of Revelation and make notes in your own words every few verses. Then read what you have written once you finish. Maybe you will learn something new.

1 Timothy 2:12 (NKJV) = "And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence."

@Diotrephes Study, so you'll know your scripture. In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul is stating that women should be silent only at the time of the judging (testing) of the prophecies. We may refer to this as the "judging of prophecies solution." All are agreed that Paul, in1 Corinthians 14:34, was not forbidding women to makeanyutterance at church. From the early church onward, all have understood that the prohibition was about women speaking publicly and officially during [b]worship[/b]. Try again.

Ephesians 5 :25 a husband should love his wife as much as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.
