When you say you're a Christian, what does that mean? Do you actually follow Christ or are you a Christian in name only?

The prophet Isaiah said:

In that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name . Take away our disgrace!"

What does that saying have to do with Christianity? What is your answer to the same two questions?
@LadyGrace Only let us be called by your name (Christian).

Being a Christian is a lifestyle, not just a belief. We all have flaws that we need to work on. We will never be perfect but let's continue to pray and try to live our lives accordingly. It's not easy being a Christian today. The bible says Satan would imprison us and test us. We are already imprisoned and being tested. If you haven't denied the faith yet, you are in it for the long haul.
@RocktheHouse I still don't see where that verse fits in at all.

Yes. Being a Christian is a lifestyle and yes, we all have things we need to work on. I do pray and live my life according to His Word. Of course we're not perfect. Jesus doesn't expect us to be and He knew we couldn't be, but we can strive to do our best in all ways. Satan is always trying to pursuade people to sin. Not just Christians. If I haven't denied the faith yet??? I'm in for the long haul. I've faced many trials and challenges. Many hard times. I'm not a part-time Christian or secret disciple. I'm not ashamed of Christ or His message.
