Why Would A Christian Do This?

Discourage other Christians from telling the world about the rapture of the church and the 7 year of tribulation written in scripture reserved for those left behind?

Simple.

They're not living right and aren't sure they'll make it on the first flight. They get uncomfortable hearing about the rapture because they're so comfortable living a life of sin.

Did I leave anything?

Yeah, You did leave something. You left the fact that all the stuff you're talking about as if it's in the Bible wasn't talked about at all until the 1800s. If it's so obvious, why did it take folks 15 centuries to find it? Seems like your invisible friend isn't very good at communicating.

@LordShadowfire damn this is why i miss the flat earth guy, it felt good when he said im going to hell for occult deception (cuz im into spirituality) and that i can be saved only if i submit to the rapture
