I think that's not limited to Christians, every person believes that they are living through historically important times. In 2000 it was the change of the millenium so people were like wow something big's going to happen. Now it's the pandemic making people believe their experiences are going to be remembered forever in the future. We just like to think we're so important lol
I think that's exactly what it is. What's happening to us right now is always the most important thing. I definitely think that's why Christians have always been convinced that now, in [i]this[/i] generation is when it's finally going to pop off.
lol yup. No joke. Totally accurate.. Jesus was a doomsday prophet and his doomsday prediction didn't come true. And now apologists jump through all sorts of hoops to explain what he [i]really[/i] meant when he seemed to say that the end times were coming very soon.
