Can you give me a method to change myself so that I will be able to do this?

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. New King James Version And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment."

All the mind, for instance. Many can't control the mind enough to use all of it constantly to love God. Many of us find ourselves thinking of things in this world rather than of God. God evidently forgives this, for we are also told that God is mercy. But this quote and others tell of this hurdle to be managed, and I have not heard any Bible expert point out a path to this state. Of course, there is the hope of it happening in the afterlife, but if it's to happen automatically after we die, provided we follow lesser rules, why do the disciples bother to direct us to love God in this way -- to this extent?

The Dalai Lama calls his mind a chattering monkey.

He has practised all his life to stop it chattering, he hasn't given up:)

Kahil Gibran had the idea of us as Onions trying to remove one leaf at a time until we get to our real essence - hopefully not the essence of a real onion:)

For me, if we are temples of the Holy Spirit, it would seem that unveiling the onion leaves of ourselves to get closer to our true selves would seem to be a way to get to know and Love God.

@Zeusdelight Yeah, me, too. The difference between praying and going deep would be the difference between following Jesus / Krishna / Buddha or just worshipping from afar. (In my not-so-humble opinion.)

@Zeusdelight Remindsme. Wht do you think of reports of the Dalai Lama being in custody?

@Nelladell Haven't heard anything. Where did you hear that?

@Zeusdelight I think two places and I think I remember one, but will have to check. Hang on. I will take a look around.

@Zeusdelight here's one I just found, but it's not what I saw before. https://ugetube.com/watch/%E9%81%94%E8%B3%B4%E5%9D%90%E7%89%A2-dalai-lama-arrested-after-assaulting-a-photographer_d1qRkMtdahXRmIF.html

For a few years Ben Fulford who was, for years, Forbes' Asia journalistc, has been reporting serious nefarious deeds by the Dalai Lama. But the above is just drunken misbehavior, it seems -- if true. And, if true, it seems to me that he could not be a true Dalai Lama, but perhaps a replacement picked by the Chinese when they took over China. Dunno. Am still curious.

@Nelladell Looked like a very suspect story. I then realise it was from a website run by the Utah Gun Exchange. It would seem to me not a very reliable service for news.

Fulford did write for Forbes, sometime before 2008, but now writes for, amongst other things, https://conspiracydailyupdate.com/category/benjamin-fulford/ and has publicly stated he wants to save the world. He has also been quoted as saying the Dalia Lama is satanic.

Have you any other sources?
