Can you give me a method to change myself so that I will be able to do this?

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. New King James Version And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment."

All the mind, for instance. Many can't control the mind enough to use all of it constantly to love God. Many of us find ourselves thinking of things in this world rather than of God. God evidently forgives this, for we are also told that God is mercy. But this quote and others tell of this hurdle to be managed, and I have not heard any Bible expert point out a path to this state. Of course, there is the hope of it happening in the afterlife, but if it's to happen automatically after we die, provided we follow lesser rules, why do the disciples bother to direct us to love God in this way -- to this extent?

When it comes to spirituality, that term doesn't mean all who are "spiritual" know God, or even have anything to do with Him. That would be like saying, all who go to the zoo are monkeys. It doesn't work that way. Likewise, not all who go to church, are born-again believers, as the bible calls those dedicated to God. Some know OF Him, yet that doesn't mean they have a relationship with Him, and that is what salvation is all about, is what Jesus said in His Word. It is also not about what church one attends, nor their service or tithes, that constitutes salvation according to God's standards for salvation. It is not about the religions of this world. It is about committed relationship with God. That is what He said in His Word. And we are certainly not expected to be perfect NOR can we earn our way to heaven by doing "good", as Jesus said we are saved by grace, when we believe in God, what He said, and trust Him to keep His Word. What is the definition of grace? It is UN-EARNED favor from God. He is trust-WORTHY. Christ died for the world. Not just certain denominations. And NEVER for "certain churches", as some false teachers would have others believe, leading them astray by their cultist, unbiblical teachings.

Christ was simply telling us that if we want peace of mind and joy, then focus on those things of God, rather than the crazy people and troubles of this world. What brings true peace and joy, does not take hard work, but better choices. It is the Holy Spirit that brings our Spirit peace and great joy that passes all understanding...when we pray and fellowship with God, read and study His Word, ask for His strength and guidance each day, do service for Him, spend time with Him as our best friend, and love and help others.

God's recipe for true happiness, joy, and peace of mind? Simple. Focus on those things of the Lord.

See what God said? Who's mind stays in PERFECT PEACE? Those whose mind is stayed on Him. He's not talking 24/7. He's just saying the more you abide in Me, the happier and more peaceful your mind and heart will be.
