1 Samuel 28:3-25
King Saul uses the Witch of Endo to summon the Spirit of the deceased prophet Samuel. Samuel was not happy.

@Pfuzylogic I didn't know Christians can do necromancy.

The Witch of Ensor was not a Christian nor a good Hebrew.

@UnderTheBridge King Saul was not Christian, he was Jewish; furthermore, it sounds like Saul was not supposed to do necromancy, like the author condemns it.

I think this post is covering the existence and not the promotion of ghosts.
The scripture I listed demonstrates a summon performed upon the request of King Saul to get advice on defeating the Philistines. The God that will save Christians will save the Jews that believed in the promise of the Messiah Jesus.

@JP1119 @Pfuzylogic so there were people who are able to use necromancy, magic that is disallowed by God? This is confusing ...
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@UnderTheBridge Yeah, God allows you to do all kinds of things he doesn’t want you to do. Murder, lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, etc. it’s called free will.

That is why I posted the scripture.
Go and check out the Old Testament.
Again the person that used necromancy was not a follower of the Prophets or Jesus.
That is why there is the scripture in Exodus 22:18 “thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” and why the witch was afraid that King Saul would execute her.
