Reorganization and team motivation - laughs needed

Our company is going through a reorg. Currently hit the 10 month mark and have 2 months to go until final integration.
Suggestions for motivating team through change management?
I’m burnt out and afraid it’s starting to show to my team. I’m typically better at conveying positivity, but I’m losing 5 of my team members. They aren’t aware.
The job market in my field is dismal.

Anyone have something funny to share? Much needed today.

I feel for you, and I mean that sincerely and not as a platitude, having gone through and now listening to my son as he is going through it. My only advice is to try and avoid all the gimmicky little games and exercises the MBAs and others try to roll out as much as you can. Management by cheerleading, I call it. Subordinates and rank and file sniff it out as BS from the get go. There must be some underlying reasons/needs for the re-org. Top management too often tries to ignore, gloss over, or divert attention from that because it requires acknowledgement of past mistakes. To the extent possible, focus on the reasons/needs that resonate as accurate and real; your colleagues/subordinates/rank and file are probably as well aware, if not more so, as to what they are/were and just need to see it is OK to talk about it. Then focus talk on how the changes are addressing these past problems to extent that it is credible. In other words, be a straight shooter rather than an "empty suit" mouthing rhetoric and jargon of the day. Hard to do, and often a tightrope to walk without offending the empty suits above. Good luck.
