Do you think this whole thing with Will Smith & Chris Rock is a publicity stunt? & when are these old folks going to allow the younger generation to

shine? I don't even care about the Oscars, never did, but it seems the same people who dominated the scenes 20 years ago are still dominating the scenes... Where is the younger generation? I hope I don't sound like an ageist. And no, 53 isn't old.

I don't care either way, the Oscars is a big deal because black actors were finally getting a reward for it.
@Chickie Whether we care or not, the media has made a big deal about it. It's something that needs to be discussed to a degree because Will Smith's actions may reinforce negative stereotypes about black men. If a Chris Rock was a white man, would Smith had the temerity to attack him in that manner? It is very bizarre when you think about it.

@RocktheHouse even if Chris Rock was white he still would've slapped him there's an old video resurfacing of Will slapping a white guy.

I don't care about the media making it a big deal I'm letting it die and move on
