Who would have been the perfect choice to play Helen on of Troy in Nolan's The Odyssey?

I only know her from playing Iron maidem Largetha on Viking and then like sideline by industry as she didnt fit new hollywood aesthetic preference. To me, Katheryn Winnick is far more believable as 'the face that launched a thousand ships.

Ahhh I liked her in Vikings!! It would be neat if the actress playing that was really a Helen like Helen Mirren.

I'm really tired of people rewriting History to their expectations or just to be politically correct. Lupita Nyong'o is a beautiful and talented women, but Helen was the daughter of a Zeus and Leda who are both Greek and a lot more lighter skinned than Lupita!!! Traditionally, ancient texts describe her as a fair-skinned, Greek (Mycenaean) woman with golden or blonde hair.
It's very difficult to make a decision as to who is truly beautiful enough to have a "face that launched a thousand ships".
