I watched this earlier on youtube,and again,as previously,there were two or three who I wasn't aware had passed.
@craig7 Yes. I was surprised about Lalo Schifrin.

Beautiful job, so bittersweet. What’s especially wonderful is that they include people from all aspects of show business, not just the “stars.”

Was wondering if Rob Reiner would be included, being that his death was so recent. Just over on YouTube watching a 60 Minutes piece filmed in October, “This is Rob Reiner.” He was being interviewed primarily about the making of the Spinal Tap sequel. What a kind, gracious, humble, funny, generous man. Whoever thought just two months later he would meet such a tragic end. Almost unthinkable. 😔
They always do such a great tribute. It leaves you sad that these lives are gone, but happy for their immortality in this art form and all they gave us.

I didn't know about Udo Kier, a favorite cult actor for me. And Claude Jarman Jr. from The Yearling.

Yes...so many. While these are always beautifully done and poignant, this year's got to me more than usual. That part towards the end, especially.
@Piper Yes. The roundup of A-listers, Lynch, Redford, Kilmer, Hackman, Reiner, Keaton…and Stamp.

What a beautiful tribute. I'd seen so many of those movies yet never knew most of the names involved.

TCM always does such a class job of remembering not only the people in front of the camera but all the people involved in movie production

They do such a lovely job of capturing the bittersweet story of a life.
@JustNik Agreed.
Some were like dear friends.
@rinkydinkydoink Yes. 🥹

@bijouxbroussard I was too young to remember, but I have an autographed photo of her somewhere…

Haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure I will.

@bijouxbroussard I haven't seen it, but I'm sure I'll find it on TCM or Youtube at some point -- I see it every year.
@ChipmunkErnie I posted it so you could see it now (if you choose). 😐

@bijouxbroussard I actually went to the big-screen TV and watched some of it, but so many things going on today I had to stop.
The video is excellent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
