otherwise they are people just like me and deserve their privacy in my opinion.

I do agree...you can't turn it off though. So you want to be adored, take my picture, see my movie, read my tweets...then when some psycho climbs your mansion wall you wonder why? And the media just fuels it...the paparazzi, etc. They have it down to a science.
On the other hand, noone is holding a gun to their heads - if they don't want to be famous, quit. Walk away.....It would be nice to have it both ways but it ain't gonna happen.
