Has anyone heard about Angelina Jolie asking Congress to distribute more food stamps to people?
I figure, Why not let her try? They are not listening to us. Maybe a celebrity like her will have a better shot.

My understanding of the food stamps program is that it is distributed by each state, and the money for it comes out of state funds. President Trump already advised the states to be lenient in accepting new medicaid applications...and some states are so poorly managed they are already floundering.
The only way the food stamps program, which is an entitlement program, could be amped up at this stage of the game is to print money.
I think Nancy Pelosi already wants to give a trillion dollars to the states, but some of the governors are cheez balls and the money would NOT go to food stamps. They would take it and tuck it toward the unions. They promised state pensions and then ran out of money.

I tend to agree but I don't think we are getting another stimulus payment and it could help those who lost their jobs due to this damned disease.

@Callmewhatyouwill They do, for example: Kim Kardashian requested Trump to pardon Alice Johnson who was serving a prison sentence for her involvement in cocaine trafficking and got her wish.
