@Morvoren People generally advertise their religion, which has become an essential aspect of modern society. If you have seen Harry Potter, you know every character to which house they belonged, so religion is the same.

@OriginalDumbMan Not everyone advertises their religion, and no it isn’t a central part of modern society.

Sure, in some religions you can buy your way into a paradise by convincing others to join you and doing all manner of horrible things to those who won’t.But those are mostly the abrahamic religions.

There are many other religions that are more subtle, more clever, less enforced and more alive than those dusty old books.
