☆ My grandpa made a career of it as an ARMY officer. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a Brigadier General, but never served as one. They promoted him right before he retired. ..and he was in Military Intelligence O7

}}}} My dad did one hitch in the US AIRFORCE and a short tour in Vietnam E4

( > My uncle did one hitch in the US ARMY and a tour in Vietnam E4

{{{ ) I joined the US ARMY on a 2 year enlistment and reenlisted for 3, then was reactivated for the first Gulf War, promoted from E5 to E6 so they could stuff me into an E7 position legally.

@Jayciedubb Wow, very impressive. There is a bond there that you can't explain... it's like no other, really. People don't get it and no I've never been in the Army but I'll just say, I've helped. Like a Dark zero thirty kinda deal.

@Catastrophe zero dark 30. That's a fine time for an alert or a piss test 😁

I'm on a medication that's causing my hair to fall out at a ridiculous rate. When I wash my hair in the shower and then look at my hands, there are 2-3 dozen hairs on them. Hair all over the sink I have to keep cleaning. Hair in bed. On my clothes. It's annoying.

Oh sorry, did you ask a question?
Catastrophe · New
@SinlessOnslaught Damn... that is rough. Sorry for your hair loss.
@Catastrophe Thankfully it's not permanent, just annoying.

Yes, I come from one and spent 27 years serving in the Army. No, I would not be a secret agent.

@WillaKissing My mentors were high ranking in the legion of valor. They had a service cross, purple heart, one more - silver cross? Is that the name?
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@Catastrophe Yes! Congrats!

My entire family severed in the military, but I turned away from military service because of childhood epilepsy

@HumanEarth Wow, nice. I have a long history... my mentors were war heroes. I know spies too. I know that sounds like bs but it isn't lol

technically my elderly friend's father was a spy at bletchley park... he grew up there but I think he is a spy also. My dad was one, I'm certain.

My father served in the US Navy in WWII. I served in the US Army. I'm not an agent, and I would only admit if I was if it wouldn't compromise my mission.

No thankfully
