@Musicman It SCARED me at first! It sounded like they were flying a couple of inches above my apartment, and once, it was so loud that I thought they were goiing to fly right into my living room!!!
I was NOT able to see any of the planes, because there was very low cloud cover.
@Musicman Yes. A little bit. It was a deep, frightening sound that I couldn't even identify at first, and all such sounds are caused by vibration in the air.
Is that restricted or controlled airspace? I can't imagine refueling in free-for-all airspace. Everything over 18,000 feet msl is controlled. Below as designated.
