@Musicman It SCARED me at first! It sounded like they were flying a couple of inches above my apartment, and once, it was so loud that I thought they were goiing to fly right into my living room!!!

I was NOT able to see any of the planes, because there was very low cloud cover.

@Musicman Yes. A little bit. It was a deep, frightening sound that I couldn't even identify at first, and all such sounds are caused by vibration in the air.

@Heartlander No idea. We DO have an airport here in Plymouth, but it is for small craft only.

@4meAndyou An air refueling of something like a B52 at low altitude would make for an awesome spectacle.

@Heartlander I wish I could have SEEN it!
