@brainrapist In my original post I didn't have time to include a link, I found this video afterwards of the doctor. They didn't say I was lying but said that I might be getting my information from iffy sources which to me, meant they were trying to shed doubt by doubting the story itself without any sources. Basically I took that as an accusation so decided to post the video of the doctor saying they examined the child, contradicting Israeli forces.

But I think to answer your question, some people just don't understand that war involves things like wearing down a population psychologically. Starving a populace, making them sick, targeting the vulnerable are all psychological war tactics for wearing down a populace. Any time any army does that even the United states it's intentional. That's how you maintain control, if you can make the population vulnerable, you can control them more.

There's similar use of war tactics I don't remember them, I think it was the Gauls I'm not entirely sure. There was a group that basically got wiped out where they were tricked by food and when they went into town, the enemy closed them off and let them starve to death. All of them died.

That's what war is, I think the issue is that people have a romanticized view of war from movies. They see it from the perspective of a person watching a movie where there are clear sides because that's what movies do.

You have to have a plot with a clear bad guy vs good guy.

They never show the supposed good guy Americans let's say, graping middle eastern teenage girls or Israeli soldiers burning little kids in movies. It's always the good guys vs the baddies, straight and narrow.

That's basically why to me, there's a certain disbelief because people think like that until you're in war and see all kinds of stupid s hit by both enemies and your side alike.

I think that's why so many just don't want to believe these things.

@brainrapist Kind of like Vietnam. I forgot which serial killer it was but there was a serial killer whose uncle fought in Vietnam for the United states and his uncle used to cut the b oobs off women and then do stuff to them. He took pictures and showed this serisl killer this when he was little, he then began to be turned on by violence because it affected his brain.

But regardless you have to wonder if this uncle was alone in treating people that way. I can't imagine that he was alone all that time, it's more like a group and they are likely doing the same things. I can't imagine how he was able to get away with so much, someone had to have known.

So it's easy for the rest of the populace to just ignore stuff like that and act like it's not apart of war but the reality is, you can't have war and human rights, period.
