I agree completely. But its gone further now. The aircraft carrier now only serves to move local force to a distant location to deliver firepower in a blow to a lesser force.. This is the age of the missile and the drone. A carrier group is too vulnerable and expensive cost wise and politically to risk losing to a couple of nuclear missiles or a fleet of drones vectoring in from various directions at once..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Absolutely, which is why Taiwan is China’s for the taking when they are ready. The US isn’t going to risk a carrier going down.
