Does anyone have old military pictures? I have some of my dads from Italy WWII
I have been looking for family members whose dad or Grandfather may have been in the 88th Infantry in Italy. I have a slew of pictures, and they have names on the back. I would love to give some to family members I received a 2 scrap books after dad passed in 2008. They have every letter he wrote to his mom, along with newspaper clippings, military papers, and the photos.

@DogMan oh yeah. my dad was a reconnaisance man because i was told he was little and could get into things. plus he did heavy cannons too. i really miss him. he was in the 38th Bataan Avengers Army
@akindheart My dad had a horrible experience on the front lines in Italy for over 1 year. He was not messed up afterwards, hardly even drank. But he did have nightmares off and on his entire life, even when in hospice, old and frail, he attacked a huge orderly that tired to wake him up during a nightmare. He pulled the guy down and was on top of him in a split second, screaming. Other than the nightmares, dad was a normal, good hearted guy. I did a lot of research into his unit, and read about the horrible things they had to go through. I think I know a little of what the dreams were about.
@DogMan what a heart wrenching story. my dad never talked about it. ever. we had to do the research on his unit. he did not march in Bataan but he was one of the avengers.
@akindheart Do you have any brothers that try talking to him about it? I know dad never talked about it to my sister, or mom. I pressed him. That is why I didn't get the scrap books with all his letters until after he passed away. He knew I would want to talk about it all.
