@SigmaWolf My dad Loved his M1 Garand. He was also the back up Bazooka man.
He told me a story about having to use a bazooka against some Germans in a fortified
concrete building. They only had 3 rockets left, he had to try to get them through
a small window. He said he missed all three, but said he blew hell out of that building. :)

@SigmaWolf Heard my father say the same thing. He was in the Pacific theater and in several places.
@DogMan he survived the war and became a farmer after the war they didnt have to worry about a japanese armor at the time as the japs did not focus on armored warfare due to lack of resources and rather invest on their airforces and navy, the tiger tank was a serious threat at the time but in the east the shermans was feared by japs as they lack armor
