U.S. Army, 20+ years, Combat veteran, Retired MSG and while I have several favorite leaders, none would be known to anyone here. I do like General Miley, but of course don't know him and never served under him.

@Mindful You did learn among many things, resilience, but also dedication, a sense of humor and most of all, how to dedicate yourself to and care for your team. There was always dedication to your men, women and mission. Once you got that down, the rest took care of itself.
The benefits both while in the Army and since were and are great. Gave me a free college education, lifetime medical care and lifetime pension, just to name a few.
