I learned to admire John McCain and that was during the time he was a presidential candidate even though I voted for Obama. I found Admiral Rickover to be a bit bizarre and heard all types of stories about him while I was in the nuclear power program. I did do a report on General Douglas and learned about him when I was in 6th grade.
I did serve 22 years in the U.S. Navy and came out as a Chief Petty Officer.
