Always great when my mate visits

He has the habit of showing up at the right times like he has a 6th sense for when I'm stressed. Today he decided my office was lacking in rubber chickens so threw one through my window which clocked me in the back of the head. I knew exactly who it was as when I looked out I could hear him scuttling away on his prosthetic legs. He joined me in my office we drank tea had a laugh about life.
A man who stopped me ending my own life and has continued to have my back 10 years on. despite his injuries he has constantly kept his humour takes everything in his metal legged stride.
A true friend and pure soldier.
