Should the U.S. be leaving Syria right now?

Right choice or wrong choice? Would your answer be different if it weren't Trump making the decision?

Yes. We aren’t suppose to be there in the first place. Regarding the Kurds and the Turks, If Trump had exited out the right way, the Turks would not be attacking the kurds right now.

@SW-User So the centuries long fight between the Kurds and Turks began during the Obama reign of error?

@hippyjoe1955 What Trump could have done was have U.N. peace keeper troops replace U.S. troops before pulling out of the region. That would have prevented the Turkish army from attacking the Kurds once U.S. forces left. All he’s showing for it now is trying to justify a bad decision he made.

@SW-User What would have been the purpose of that. Turks and Kurds just don't want to get along. Let them fight their own battles. We don't need to lose any of our troops because they want to fight. Canada used to take pride in keeping the peace and many of my friends served on peace keeping missions. Canada has realized what my friends realized, you can't keep peace if there is no peace to keep.

@hippyjoe1955 the purpose for it is already stated in my reply.

@SW-User What bad decision has anyone made. The middle east loves to fight. Let them. No one over here needs to interfere over there.

@jveryoral Those troops that Trump ordered to leave Syria will remain in the middle east to prevent a resurgence of the Islamic State threat. They aren’t making it home.
