How can anyone condone US support for the genocide in Yemen.

I simply don't understand it. Unless you just really hate Yemeni people and want them dead, I can't fathom any other reason why you'd think it's ok. Even if you completely disregard the fact that it's a humanitarian disaster, it's still costing all your tax money, violating the US Constitution, and violating international law. Like, how are you benefiting from it?

Because Saudi Arabia bribes the policymakers, the media and the military-industrial complex needs the multi-billion sales to Saudi Arabia.

Most people in the U.S. don't care if they actually know what is going on in Yemen.

By the way, the U.S. support the Saudi-led coalition, which in turn supports Al Qaeda in Yemen.

@Mugin16 I wish you were wrong. Unfortunately, you're not. And this is something I've been saying for ages too. Our authorization for the use of military force in the Middle East is to fight Al Qaeda. But here we are giving weapons and money to Al Qaeda through Saudi. Along with a variety of other jihadist groups.

@BlueMetalChick Daniel Larison at the American Conservative Magazine does an excellent job of pointing out the illegal and counter-productive U.S. involvement in the war in Yemen.

@Mugin16 Many people in the U.S just care about cheap gas for their SUVs, and pickup trucks.

@chrisCA Understandable but then the U.S. gets most of its oil from Canada, Venezuela and its domestic production.

@Mugin16 I doubt many know that. Lol
Quiet about Venezuela. We don't want the Americans to get any ideas. 😏

@chrisCA Looks like the U.S. government is planning an illegal naval blockade of Venezuela.
