@srxwat4 pfft. Iran didn't kill anyone. But if they pull a stunt that does cause the death of a service man, you can expect all hell to break loose. Just as it should be.

@TexChik Iran has killed and injured MANY US soldiers over the years, usually without repercussions.

@srxwat4 They weren't capable of much, and as Reagan demonstrated, weren't willing to take the full force of American fire power. That is still true, this little game with the drone was a set up trying to goad Trump into retaliating. You can look to Obama for that one. Schumer and Pelosi were seen celebrating the downing of our drone..but had nothing to say when Trump cancelled any retaliatory strike.

@TexChik According to defenseone.com, they were first used in 2007, when George II was president. They were subsequently used when Pinocchio Obama was pretending to be president. Close to 250 Marines were murdered by Hezbollah in 1983, when Reagan was president. He didn't do much about it.

@ProfessorPlum77 Oh yes the bombing, I had forgotten about that one... Black hawk down under Clinton, the debacle in the desert with mr peanut after Ross Perot's private force successfully rescued his employees in Iran, and of course Obama who practically cheered as our sailors were detained and abused is what stuck in my mind. Lebanon was such a quagmire .
