@SW-User War is a racket. Money is made by waging war. Private businesses get paid to produce the weapons and equipment used to fight the war, people who bought stock in those companies make massive profits, and elected officials in the government get campaign contributions to in exchange to keep those wars going.

@Groofydorkgerdo And I even forgot to mention that part, you're right.

My sister used to work for Northrop Grumman. She has a $200,000 annual salary plus bonuses, and she up and left that job when she found out the company was selling bomber jets to Saudi Arabia so they could continue the genocide in Yemen.

@BlueMetalChick it used to top secret stuff back in the 60's through mid 90's. No one seems to care anymore, so why hide it?

@BlueMetalChick JFK realized his mistake and knew it was unwinnable.

@SheikYerbouti He did. Unfortunately he was killed before he could do anything to remedy his own wrongdoings.

@BlueMetalChick Exactly. Guys like McNamara knew it was pointless, yet he recommended it continue.

@SheikYerbouti McNamara. Fun story, I had no idea who that guy was until I played the first Black Ops video game, and I thought his haircut was funny. Then I heard he was a real person and I went deeeeeep into reading about Kennedy years, and subsequently Nixon's administration.
