Trump says that if the caravan reaches the border he will deploy the military. Can the military be used on American soil?

@Nimbus In the places where a wall WAS built, illegal aliens are climbing it and dropping off the other side, injuring themselves. Last week a mother carrying a five month old baby jumped, compound fracturing her leg. She AND the baby dropped about thirty feet.

It can't be 'rocket science' to design one that is effective AND safe surely?

@Nimbus I don't know. The border patrol says they need to be able to see through the wall, and any holes are being used as hand and footholds. The ones designed like rails are being scaled like the Hawaiians scale a coconut tree.

@4meAndyou I am positive that can be achieved.

It's almost basic engineering and a few electronics.

@Nimbus Better designers than I would have to engineer it. I majored in design and I am stumped. They seem to be able to climb anything.

@4meAndyou You've probably heard it said. A 30ft wall is defeated by a 31ft ladder. Or a piece of rope. Or a series of boxes...or a ramp. I wonder how many drones it would take to lift a person? Heck even just lean a long pole against it...yeah, haha, this is hard.
