Used to like my job
I enjoyed construction before computers and technology. Architects used to do their job.
They produced clean plans that we actually built off of. Now they draw a floor plan, copy and paste
info from previous jobs, and build it through revisions and addendums, and never change the plans.
And don't get me started on all the different construction programs that require system learning on
every job, from submittals to billings.
I started before computers and even before fax machines. We called in our bids on the telephone
and then a gal in the office typed it up and stuck in in the mailbox.
Thank you for listening 😵💫
