The grad to job ratio is pretty rough these days. You will more than likely need to start low and slow and work your way up. Having a degree doesn’t necessarily give you the top experience you believe you have. You still need experience within the company. That starts at the bottom. It sucks, but that’s the reality.

@MartinTheFirst I think you should look at all options in the companies you are interest in. Aim for the sky! You deserve it after all the work you have put into your degree. Just make note that the email you sent them may not be the best way to encourage getting an interview. No one is going to be impressed with a smartass. Sell your knowledge. They can discover your “pleasant” personality once you get the job.

@Pinkstarburst I know, I'm never going to apply there again because their application process was hell, it took 1 hour to answer all their questions, just to get a "sorry" email, meanwhile they offer 30% lower wages than the minimum wage for entry level people in my field.

@MartinTheFirst Yikes! Good idea. I really do wish you the best on your hunt. I’m cheering you on!
New grad vibes. You’ll get there.

What reasons did they give you?

@MartinTheFirst Well you think you’re more qualified then everyone else, but other people are being selected rather than you.
So something is going wrong. You can either learn what it is or remain ignorant to it.

@MartinTheFirst that’s fair I suppose. Experience is always better than academic point scoring.
