My man got a job!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Desmond has done several interviews since he moved back to my area back in January but hasn’t had much luck with finding work other than doing working for a friend where he’s paid out-of-pocket, but of course, that’s not any official work. 😕 This morning, however, he did an interview for a groundskeeper position (at the same complex my mom works at) and he just called me saying they contacted him just over an hour after his interview and asked if he could start this afternoon. 😃

Omg, I’m so happy for him! He was getting pretty discouraged for a while, as it goes, but I knew he’d find something eventually if he just kept at it. 👍 I was hoping he’d find a position at the same complex I work at, lol. But where he’ll be working isn’t far from where I work, so we’ll still be near each other. And we’ll have the same work schedule, so I’ll be able to drop him off at the start of the day and pick him up at the end. 😁

He sounded so happy when he called me. 😊 He said he’s going to get ready as soon as he hangs up. I’ll go see him during my lunch break and then drop him off at his new workplace when it’s over. This just made the whole week for both of us. 🥹
