The roofers have been hammering on the roof since 6 a.m. Slowly. VERY slowly.

At one point it was driving me a bit insane. But now they are drilling, which is actually better, to my way of thinking...because at least I know what the heck they are doing.

Are they repairing or replacing the roof? How long is this project expected to last. As you know we just had our roof replaced.

@Musicman They are putting down a rubberized roof. I don't know what was there before...but they have been working on it since last April. We were told it would take 8 weeks.

They started hammering at 7 am this morning...which was marginally better than 6.

@4meAndyou Are you serious!!!!! They have been working on it for four months and they are not done yet???? I have installed the rubber roofing before. It's usually used on flat roofs. It is pretty easy to install.

@Musicman PART of the problem is that they stopped working. For a long while. They just walked off the job during the worst of the summer heat. Our building management was forced to re-negotiate with them, and now they are back at work.
