The roofers have been hammering on the roof since 6 a.m. Slowly. VERY slowly.

At one point it was driving me a bit insane. But now they are drilling, which is actually better, to my way of thinking...because at least I know what the heck they are doing.

They must be hourly.
Most roofers I knew got paid by the square.

@Adrift Also, at 6 am when they started, it was only 55F, so they must have wanted to get a head start when the weather was really cool.
