Some people around here have slight distaste for the Amish because they take away work from crews hy severely underbidding jobs.

Partially because they most often don't report their earnings on taxes and also most often aren't bonded, certified, and insured. The other aspect of it is partially based on their customs about obtaining wealth. They usually bid a price based largely on the amount they need for a task or item they are trying to acquire and not based on the work being performed itself. It's annoying but whatever that's their gig and just doing their thing.


But...

They kind of annoy for a different reason. You see a bunch of these leeches playing "contractor". Who just slightly underbid a job, not by much just a little to get the hook in. Then drive to an Amish community, pay them peanuts, then deliver them to a job site and just stand around not doing a damn thing but watch like some sort slave boss from the plantation days. They pocket a huge bulk, do absolutely nothing. It annoys me to know end that they reward these middle men leeches. These fucktards just looking to exploit to get out of being in anyway useful or productive. It bothers me that they help these POS make a living and take work from regular crews, while taking the profit from the Amish workers. There's so called "contractors" have no experience or knowledge usually. They just have a van and a lack of any ethics. They aren't bonded or insured either and are just users of the highest order.
