what would make you jump ship to another job generally in the same field?
Money? Conditions? Opportunities for growth? Toxic management culture towards grass roots workers? Something else?
All of these apply to my workplace right now but I'm staying as my contract is perm part time with a fixed roster pattern since about 3 yrs ago and I have been in the industry 38 yrs now (since feb 1987). I've seen all this before several times over.
Just this month I've clocked 10 yrs with current employer. I get paid each fn to do my job as safely and effectively as possible each shift and go home again to switch off from the corporate ecosystem.
