Apparently one of my boyfriend's supervisors is going to be my new second boss 😮

The last second-in-charge who held that position recently got a job elsewhere, leaving that position open and they've been interviewing for it this week. I just got done having lunch with Desmond and he tells me that one of the leads at his groundskeeping job was all saying how he's only going to be there for a couple more weeks before taking a position at the procurement department in the casino I work at. Well now! This is a small world we live in, lol. Naturally, I was asking Desmond what that guy's like and he says he's pretty decent. That he's always friendly, a guy who can get things done, and that he has even said he prefers to see himself as another co-worker to those under him and is only a supervisor when he needs to be, that that isn't often. I liked what I heard! He does sound like a cool, decent fellow. So long as he's not some authoritative hard-ass, like I feared someone who might take that position would be. Hopefully him learning I'm Desmond's girlfriend can get us off on good footing too. 😄
