OMG I am sooo stoked.
I had mentioned in a previous post (maybe just on FB) that I am being given the honor of working in QA and reporting, on top of my normal duties.
I thought that I would be QA'ing other reps, reps more SENIOR than me (as far as how long they have been in the dept. I have been in this dept since late November, but with the company 10 years).
This scared me, because I didn't want everyone to unalive the messenger, especially if they know something I don't!!
Found out today that INSTEAD of reviewing PEOPLE, I will be auditing a daily document from our vendor. This means that: a) No feelings get hurt, b) I myself am hardly audited in my reviews, c) I am now a Subject Matter Expert (SME), so I am eligible for a higher yearly bonus, d) I get to be off the phones for as long as the daily reviews take me (so I will only be on the phones, max, like 4 hours a day instead of 8), e) I will have more visibility to higher ups, f) I won't be subject to the same verification metric quotas.
Data analyzation like this is my SKILL SET. Being able to work independently, aside from the occasional question, is so amazing.
So I have already been cross-trained from Medical/Behavioral/Dental/Vision to Pharmacy. I have been taught how to do my portion of daily reporting. I have been taught how to query our vendor records. I was tasked with being a tester for our new verification platform (took it upon myself to create a big spreadsheet with feedback, which they loved). And soon, I will be cross-training AGAIN into updates, which means more potential for OT!!!
STOOOOOOKED.
