Just ranting, or maybe it's my fault
I need to rant about my OJT experience. I completed my hours at a company and started in their technical department. Halfway through my OJT, they tasked us with developing a system for the company. The problem is, even with this new task, we were still required to be in the technical department. Most days, especially when it was busy, we didn't even have the opportunity to program. On some days, we could only program for a maximum of three hours.
After my OJT ended, we failed to complete the system, so they made the system our clearance requirement. We need to finish it to be officially done. I worked on the system for about two weeks, and yesterday it was checked. It worked as they described, but now they want more features and functions. They gave us a week to finish it, and I’m just frustrated because I’m a graduating student. After OJT, I have a lot of things to do, like school clearance and OJT documents, but I haven’t even started them because of the system.
I can't say no to the company because my grades and graduation depend on them.
