When is it time to step aside from a company ?

What are the signs ?

First ensure that your life is safe without a job for a good amount of time. Atleast 2-3 years of savings.

Next would be whether your job prospects or freelance prospects are good.

Third is to start preparing for it before you submit your resignation letter like starting to look for jobs. Much easier job hunting with a job on hand than as unemployed.

Then start to analyse your work as to how prospective the business is, how mundane your work is and how your colleagues and superiors treat you.

After this let time determine your course.

1.When you are forced instead of requested to do overtime.
2.If you think you're underpaid for the work you put in.
3.If the colleagues are toxic.
4.If the higher officials are predators.
5.If the company is doing illegal things and makes you take part in it.

After about 2 years if you aren't going to get a raise or better position or any number of annoyances at that point honestly. You could probably apply elsewhere for the same work getting more money. The system is broken like that.
