I worked with someone that is legally blind, but can still see well enough to function.
She got hired at her previous job as a quality auditor. They then fired her for not doing well. She, with the help of the union, sued. She got a settlement and free health insurance through the company for life.

She's only blind in one eye, she just can't see well out of the other. 🤣
